This is part of a timelapse series I shot last weekend. I'm hoping to include it in the kayaking documentary (which you can read about here) that I've been working on for the past several months. Becky is finally setting off, and I am so excited for her. But I am also very nervous. I will be meeting her along the way at designated points, but there will be long distances where she will be alone in a harsh environment. I'm hoping to get a lot of footage during our rendezvous, but she is going to be filming the majority of her journey with a GoPro.
I was able to get several interviews about the Great Salt Lake this past Saturday, from the Hui Paoakalani Hawaiian Canoe Club to a world class open water swimmer to the incredibly knowledgable Harbor Master. The Great Salt Lake Marina is home to a lot of amazing people, and I felt honored to be accepted into their tight-knit community. Hopefully, I'll be able to share some short clips soon. In the mean time, enjoy this month's desktop wallpaper.
