What a stressful last few days it has been. Becky has been fighting against high winds, storm surges, chaffing salt, high and low temperatures, sandbars, rattle snakes, lack of sleep, losing the boat, incredibly dense waves...and that's just the half of it. There is no doubt someone has been watching over her. I've been able to meet her at all of our previously planned rendezvous, plus a surprise middle-of-the-night-come-help-me-find-my-boat rendezvous. I don't think people realize how much has gone into this adventure or how difficult and dangerous these waters can be. But Becky made it through. She made it through so much, and I am extremely proud of her. She's on the homestretch now, and will be making it into the Great Salt Lake Marina this afternoon. If you want to see history in the making, come congratulate Becky on her safe return from crossing an inland sea.
